Providing Learning Environments to Advance Your Skills
9 Nurse-Led Clinics
The ETSU College of Nursing operates 9 nurse led clinics throughout Northeast Tennessee. These clinics serve rural, underserved populations. Whether it is our flagship Johnson City Community Health Center or one of our School Based Health Centers, the College of Nursing is committed to serving the community and providing educational opportunities for our students in our clinics.
Our Sim Lab merges high-tech with high-touch to create a safe, no-risk learning environment, that is conducive to developing a student's technical skills and ability to apply their knowledge to real-life patient scenarios. Our Sim Labs include Hi-fidelity manikins, iSimulate Patient Monitors, and simulation recording capabilities.
The Skills Lab at the College of Nursing provides our students an environment to hone their skills and to develop the technical mastery required to deliver effective and safe care to the patient. With manikins and simulated environments, the Skills Lab provides students an accessible opportunity to learn and grow.
Interprofessional Courses & Clinics
The College of Nursing, in conjunction with the other members of the Academic Health Sciences Center at ETSU, strive to create interprofessional courses and clinical experiences that elevate care by creating expert teams which provide collaborative care.
Connected to Nationally Recognized Health Systems
In addition to the wealth of clinical opportunities we provide our students, we also partner with three nationally recognized health systems: Mountain States Health Alliance, Wellmont Health System, and the Veterans Administration Medical Center, at Mountain Home. These partnerships create unique and dynamic educational experiences that students might not otherwise have available in other programs.
