IPEDS
The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) through the annual IPEDS, Integrated Post-Secondary Education Data System, reporting collects from ETSU data about enrollment measures; student demographics; tuition and fees; financial aid awards; graduation rates; transfer-out rates; degrees awarded; fiscal indicators; FTE of students, staff, faculty; and employee salaries.
The IPEDS Data Feedback Reports are intended to provide institutions a context for examining the data they have submitted to IPEDS and to allow the institution to see a comparison of their data to data submitted by other institutions. An institution is given the opportunity to select its own comparison group. NCES strongly encourage institutions to take advantage of the opportunity to select other institutions to which they want to be compared. If an institution does not submit its own group of comparison institutions, IPEDS identified a comparison group for the Feedback Reports
