Min Ji Baek, based in the United States and South Korea, is an active soloist and chamber artist. She teaches as adjunct piano faculty and works as a collaborative pianist. She also teaches in the Community Music School.
A prize winner at the National Student Music Competition, ARPA international Competition, Music Journal Competition and NSW Sydney Parramatta Competition. She appeared with Wonju Philharmonic Orchestra, Appassionato Wind Orchestra (South Korea) and St. Petersburg Broadcast Orchestra (Russia). As a member of Piano Society Korea and Piano Duo Society, she played extensively in the major venues in Korea including IBK Chamber Hall in Seoul Arts Center, Kumho Arts Center and Young San Arts Hall.
Min Ji is working towards the completion of the Doctor of Musical Arts (ABD) at West Virginia University, where she was a teaching assistant and WVU Opera Theater accompanist. She received the Master of Music degree in Piano Performance at Manhattan School of Music where she was a Samuel and Mitzi Newhouse recipient. Min Ji received the Bachelor of Music at Gangneung-Wonju National University with a Merit-Based Scholarship for four years.
