Admission & Registration

Applying to Pre-College:

If your child is interested in becoming a Pre-College student send an e-mail to precollege@etsu.eduwith the following information:

  • Name of student
  • Name of parent/guardian
  • Parent/guardian phone number
  • Instrument or Voice
  • How you heard about ETSU Pre-College
  • Brief summary of student's past training and current skill level

 

Additionally, please have the student's former teacher(s) send a letter to precollege@etsu.edu with information concerning the interested student's skill level.

 

Current/Returning Pre-College Students:

Tuition

Tuition is billed on a per-semester basis. Payment plans are available and should be discussed with the Pre-College administrator.  

Tuition for Private Lessons:

There are approximately 14 weeks (14 lessons) in a semester). 

  • 60-minute weekly lessons: $800 = per semester

  • 45-minute weekly lessons: $600 = per semester

  • 30-minute weekly lessons = $400 per semester

Tuition for Orchestras:

Click on the "Orchestras" tab on the left for information about auditions and rehearsal times. 

  • Sinfonia Orchestra = $250 per semester

  • ETSU Symphony Orchestra = $250 per semester

Scholarships & Financial Need

Scholarships:

Scholarships are available and will be awarded based on financial needs and level of musical ability.

Parents interested in applying for scholarships must submit accurate information regarding their financial circumstances, including tax returns.

To apply, complete the Financial Aid Scholarship Application and email it to the Pre-College administrator at precollege@etsu.edu
