About this Conference: | The Tennessee Sex Offender Treatment Board, housed administratively in the Tennessee Department of Correction, has been providing specialized training to mental health providers specific to the area of sex offender treatment for over twenty years. Courses offered during this annual conference include “New Provider” training for any mental health provider interested in becoming an approved sex offender treatment provider in Tennessee. Additional courses offered include: Sex Offender Risk Evaluation Training, Ethics Training, Risk Assessment Training, and Trauma Focused Treatment for Sex Offenders. The conference is open to anyone who wishes to attend and is mandatory for all approved evaluators and approved providers. | |||||||||||||||
