Rural Programs Home

In keeping with its commitment to provide primary care practitioners for the Southern Appalachian region, the Department of Family Medicine has established a variety of rural medicine programs. The department recognizes that a series of comprehensive training programs based in rural areas is of much greater value than a single, isolated rural experience. If you have an interest in rural medicine I encourage you to take advantage of these programs.
