 III.         Open Forum

                       a.         Junior Senate- Six groups presented the following legislation for senator consideration: a transition to biodegradable straws in the Culp Student Center, an addition of air purifiers in high traffic areas, an addition of trashcans in parking lots, an advocation for more music rooms, an advocation for more signage on campus trails, and a suggestion for a second Preview for the freshman class of Fall 2020.

 IV.         New Business

                       a.         Appointments- Abigail Butler, Allen Archer, Tessa Cavender, and Abigail Wilson, Senators

                      b.         SSR-20-007- Bucs for Beer- “A resolution for the University to allow the sale of alcoholic beverages at athletic events for both students and the community”

                       c.         SSR-20-008- “A resolution requestion the University amend its general policy on student conduct to create a separate offense for hate based crimes that are committed on the basis of a victim’s protected class including but not limited to race, gender, or sexual orientation.”
