The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accountancy at ETSU is designed for students who want to pursue a general degree in accounting. In addition to learning foundational accounting concepts, you will also gain a broader understanding of business management and administration. This versatile degree will prepare you for diverse roles within the business world.

With 36 hours of accounting coursework, you are well qualified to sit for the CPA, CMA and CIA exams. We encourage students interested in a CPA license to continue on with your education at ETSU by pursuing a Master of Accountancy.

Through this program, you will become a critical-thinking professional who can maneuver through technological advancements and drive an ethical culture. You’ll use your accounting and business skills to make an impact in your workplace and beyond.

The Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Less than 2% of accounting programs worldwide have received this prestigious accreditation.

Career coaching, resources, and networking opportunities are available so you can graduate career-ready for a competitive marketplace.

Additionally, an Accounting Networking Night is held annually in September where 30+ employers are on campus recruiting accounting students for internships and permanent positions. Employers participating include the “Big 4” international CPA firms, Crowe, LBMC, Elliott Davis, a host of regional CPA firms, TVA, IRS, FBI, state agencies, Eastman, Ballad, and many more. Two other CBAT career fairs are also held with multiple firms seeking accounting graduates.
