ETSU Arboretum
The East Tennessee State University Arboretum has been established to promote the beauty and diversity of the campus landscape, and to inform the public of the scientific, aesthetic, and economic values of plants in our environment. It serves as a focal point for organizing and educating persons interested in improving the regional landscape and deepening their appreciation for the botanical richness of the Southern Appalachian Mountains.
The ETSU Arboretum comprises the entire area of the main campus and adjacent University Woods. It includes over 200 different species of trees. It also includes over 150 shrub species and cultivated varieties of trees and shrubs in the signed Arboretum collection.
