Telebucs

Thank you to our former TeleBucs for the help you provided to other students! TeleBucs was launched in fall 2017 by The Center for Advisement and Student Excellence and ended in 2022. These students helped others to answer questions about ETSU or the College of Arts and Sciences, as well as to reach out to students for various specific reasons.

I am a first-year freshman here at ETSU. I am currently a nursing-interest major and plan to apply to nursing school for the fall of 2022. One thing I like about the field of nursing is that one can work in many different departments and experience varying occupational atmospheres. I enjoy reading, listening to true crime podcasts, and doing hot yoga. I hope everyone has a great semester and go Bucs!”  - Cloe Hale

 

I'm majoring in psychology and double-minoring in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Trauma and Resilience! After graduation, I intend to pursue a Master's in Counseling with a concentration in clinical mental health." - Elias Cooper-Grimes

As of now I am learning the ropes and probably trying to juggle too many things at once. I’m a Chemistry ACS major, although my plan is to apply for pharmacy school once I have met the pre-requisites. Although I’m still learning the campus layout, I was born and raised in Johnson City, so I know the area pretty well. I have a few hobbies, although most of them involve staying at home (I’m very lazy). One of my favorite hobbies is rewatching the same Disney movie one too many times (Traditional animated Disney is better than modern animated Disney and nobody can change my mind)." - Connor Broadwater

I'm a music major at ETSU! I play the clarinet and the Tenor Saxophone and love most musical genres, though specialize in classical music and jazz. I'm from Clinton, TN, and when I'm not practicing my instruments, I get into hiking and photography. I have been enjoying college so far and can't wait to see where the year takes me! I have always loved interacting with different people and watching them discover what they are passionate about. I'm so excited to be a telebuc and finally play a front-line role in helping the students of this university succeed and find what they're interested in."  - Kate Boundy

 

I am currently majoring in Media and Communication with a potential concentration in Radio, TV, and film. I was born in Florida and moved to Tennessee when I was in fourth grade.
