I earned my bachelor’s degree in Communication at Truman State University. From there I received a master’s degree in Communication at Indiana State University. I started at ETSU in 2000. I love the area and the amazing people I meet at ETSU keeps me here. When I am not in the classroom, I serve as the Debate Coach for the ETSU Speech and Debate Team.

I mainly teach General Education courses which focus on improving student’s skills in communicating.

On A More Personal Note

I have a wife and a young child. We love discovering new things to do in our hometown. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and watching episodes of The Simpsons.
