One of the unique benefits of being a student in the Department of MDCM (undergrad majors and grad students) is that you have free access to Adobe Certified Professional training and testing. Other providers typically charge $1250-2000 per course—significant added value that results in industry-recognized credentialing.
Participants will have access to online training materials for one or more courses for 3 weeks. All courses are 100% online. Participants will have access to 10+ hours of course content to review on their own time and at their own pace. At the conclusion of the course, participants will sit for the certification exam(s) that are delivered in an online synchronous format. Multiple rounds of courses are offered each fall and spring semester, and registration information is sent out via the Departmental newsletter.
Free ACP workshops are currently only available to Department of Media and Communication
Students along with Tech Writing minors. MDCM and Tech Writing minor student status
verification may be required.
Fall 2024 Workshop Dates:

By registering for a student workshop, you are committing to complete the program. Workshop seats are limited and in high demand. If you sign up but don't participate in the training and certification exam, you will not be able to register for another ACP workshop this semester. There are no retakes, so please study well and be prepared on exam day. If you fail the exam, you can try again by registering for another workshop, subject to available space.
