Candy Bryant is a 1985 ETSU alum and cum laude graduate with a degree in Mass Communications. She has over 15 years of professional broadcasting experience and was among the first set of women to become prominent on-air talent in the region. Bryant tackled the on-air position, overcoming many obstacles to become one of the most popular disc jockeys in the Tri-Cities. She has won many awards for her work, including Ad Awards, "Best Ears in the Business” and multiple service awards for her continuing involvement with community and non-profit service work. Her television works include "Nowhere to Sit,” and interview program with Rosa Parks, "The Lost Generation,” a magazine program, and a series of teaching videos for those who work with autistic children. She has over 20 years of teaching experience at both the secondary and post-secondary levels. She joined the ETSU RTVF program in 1995.
