PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Dr. Snodgrass is the Associate Dean of Academic and Clinical Affairs (Interim) for the College of Health Sciences. He was the founding chair for the Department of Rehabilitative Sciences at ETSU. Prior to coming to ETSU, he served as a professor of healthcare administration & occupational therapy and chair for the Department of Occupational Therapy at Milligan College. He has also held graduate faculty appointments at Walden University, University of St. Augustine for the Health Sciences, and Bethel University. 

Dr. Snodgrass serves as a peer reviewer for several academic journals. He has held a variety of leadership positions at the state and national levels for professional healthcare associations. He has published research in peer-reviewed journals and authored several book chapters in the areas of leadership, rehabilitation and prevention of work related disorders, ethics in healthcare, and ergonomics.

 He previously held clinical specialty certifications as a Certified Work Capacity Evaluator, Certified Ergonomic Evaluation Specialist and Board Certified Disability Analyst. 

In 2017, he was awarded the Roster of Fellows for the American Occupational Therapy Association (FAOTA). He has held a license to practice occupational therapy in TN and VA  since 1996.
