Dr. Baggett has been full-time faculty for 25 years. He has provided field instruction for 6 universities. At ETSU, he has been the Director of Field Instruction, BSW Program Director, and Department Chair. His primary areas of instruction are clinical practice and field practicum. Dr. Baggett has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 25 years and member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers for 30 years. He has worked primarily in the mental health, health care, and criminal justice systems. He has also worked in the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Baggett is the Executive Director of the Phi Alpha Honor Society and member of the NASW Tennessee Chapter Ethics Committee. He serves on boards of directors and committees for community organizations helping the homeless. Dr. Baggett’s primary areas of research are self-care and psychosocial issues in healthcare.
