Expanding Horizons
Services:
Our Expanding Horizons program is part of Tennessee's Early Intervention System (TEIS). Early Interventionists support families who have children, birth up to the age of 5 who qualify for early intervention. Using the evidence-based home visiting model, Family Guided Routines Based Interventions (FGRBI), our early interventionist coach parents as the address developmental, social, and behavioral needs. Our early interventionists serve eligible children and their families in the home or in the childcare setting.
There is no cost to families for early intervention services.
Eligibility:
In Tennessee, a child with an approved diagnosis or children whose test results show that they have a 25% delay in two developmental areas or a 40% in one area may be eligible for TEIS.
