Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance Home
TECTA is a statewide system established to provide affordable professional development with academic degree credit possibilities for Tennessee's early childhood education personnel. This project is funded by the Center of Excellence for Learning Sciences at Tennessee State University through a contract with the Tennessee Department of Human Services.

Professional Development Planning Coaching and Support. We would also like to provide you with a link to TECTA's Individual Professional Development Plan (IPDP). -
Support
TECTA also provides technical support for accreditation such as the state-wide Infant/Toddler Credential. -
Infant/Toddler Credential
As stated above, TECTA provides education for the Infant/Toddler Credential which is awarded to early childhood educators who demonstrate research-based learning, and portfolio development.
