About this Conference:	A half-day conference held at ETSU Quillen College of Medicine. A large group didactic session begins the day to present the clinical anatomy and evidence-based approaches to the procedure. This is followed by small group, experiential sessions where participants will observe and identify relevant anatomy via pro-sections and virtual reality, demonstrate competency for these procedures on a surgical reality donors prepared through the modified Thiel embalming method, and apply the skills and knowledge gained in a simulation scenario.

Overall Conference Objectives:	As a result of attending this activity, the participant will be able to: Confidently perform a central venous line placement Explain the pros and cons of the various locations of central venous lines from standpoints of patient care and procedural difficulties Rate the various approaches to central venous line placement in terms of appropriateness for various clinical purposes Learn how to safely and effectively remove a central line Understand how the important anatomical relationships can be identified with ultrasound imaging

Cancellation Policy:	Registration fees are refundable less a $50.00 administrative fee, for cancellations received in writing a minimum of 14 days prior to the activity date. Refunds are not provided when the registration fee is $50.00 or less, or when a cancellation request is received less than 14 days prior to the start of the activity. ETSU Quillen College of Medicine reserves the right to cancel CME activities. If an activity is cancelled, registrants will receive a full refund.
