About this Conference: | This half day conference is designed to increase provider confidence when performing central venous catheterization through a combination of lecture and hands-on, skills based training. Participants will perform subclavian, internal jugular, external jugular, and femoral central line placements with undissected soft-embalmed cadavers in conjunction with prosection review of relevant clinical anatomy, the advantages and disadvantages of different approaches to central vein catheterization, and a hands-on demonstration of ultrasound guidance. | ||||||||||||||||||||
