Discover ETSU

The Multicultural Center sponsors a recruitment program called DISCOVER ETSU. Each year East Tennessee State University continues to seek new ways to spark interest in students across the region, state, and county to attend college.Through several programs offered to high school students, we have encouraged countless students to further their education. DISCOVER ETSU is one of those programs.

DISCOVER ETSU is a program that invites 11th and 12th grade high school students who are from first-generation and Pell eligible and/or socioeconomically underserved communities. Students are invited to the campus for a weekend in both Fall and Spring. Primarly focus on Seniors in the Spring to provide more clear information. The visit includes a tour of the campus and an opportunity to meet ETSU faculty, staff, and students from across the campus. Participants will gain more information from the ETSU staff about: Admissions, Financial Aid, Scholarships, Housing, Campus Life. This is a great way to learn what ETSU is about!

DISCOVER ETSU will take place on Friday, October 18, 2024 followed by Admissions' Open House on October 19. Registration for Discover ETSU. 

The DISCOVER ETSU program is FREE of charge to the students and their guests.
