Super Saturday Enrichment
During the spring of 2021, ETSU's Office of Professional Development was pleased to offer the Renaissance Child Super Saturday Enrichment. Children ages 6-12 were invited to three Saturdays where hands-on science activities were presented.
These activities included an introduction to Energy; where learning about different energy sources and how they can be utilized was presented. Chemistry, using safe ingredients, was presented using hands-on activities. Then, the third Saturday, children learned about rocketry and launched their own hydro-rocket, as well as produced their own “rocket fuel”. They also learned about wind energy.
ETSU followed CDC guidelines, which included limited enrollment and social distancing. Many activities took place outdoors.
Please continue to visit this page for more information about future Super Saturdays!
