    Esports continues to grow, outpacing the skill sets of current potential employees. Current students have found positions in content creation programming and operations, but there could be opportunities in marketing, business development, and communications.

    No, a master's degree is not required for this program. A student's undergraduate degree does not have to be related to this field.

    Once a year, the Esports Management & Governance class puts on an online esports tournament. However, faculty will remain flexible for students' schedules.

  • What is the time to completion?

    Full-time students: 2 semesters (2 classes per semester). 

    Part-time students: 4 semesters (1 class per semester). 

  • When can I start?

     Students may begin during the fall, spring, or summer terms.

  • Are scholarships available?

    There are no scholarships for this certificate, specifically. ETSU's Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships offers scholarship information for all student levels. By submitting the Universal Scholarship Application, students can be considered for a variety of university scholarships. Learn more on the ETSU Scholarship website.
