The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management guides students in the study of human resource management, human behavior in organizations, organizational theory, strategic management, entrepreneurship, operations management, and business law.

This fully-accredited program equips students with the skills needed to excel in the business management field. A Management, BBA, provides foundational knowledge to aspiring business professionals. 

Students can focus their studies in the area best suited for their career goals. There are three online and mostly online concentrations to choose from and each offers a core business curriculum before advancing to specialized coursework.

High-Quality Concentrations

  • General Management - 100% online

    The general management concentration explores fundamental management principles and practices essential for success in various business environments. Students in this concentration study a broad range of topics, including strategic planning, organizational behavior, leadership, operations management, and decision-making. This concentration provides a solid foundation for aspiring managers to effectively lead teams that drive business growth.

  • Human Resource Management - mostly online

    The human resources (HR) concentration provides specialized knowledge and skills in managing the people aspects of organizations. Students in this concentration typically study topics such as recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and HR law and regulations.

  • Legal Studies - mostly online

    The Legal Studies concentration provides foundations in legal concepts that can be applied across different business disciplines.

    This program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB). 

  • Are the courses for this program asynchronous or synchronous? 

    The General Management concentration is asynchronous, meaning it can be completed 100% online.

    The Human Resources Management and Legal Studies concentrations are mostly asynchronous.

  • Does this program require an internship or field work? 

    No, there are no internship or field work requirements.

  • What is the time to completion?


    Full-time: Students transferring to ETSU with an A.A. or A.S. degree in Business can complete this program in four semesters. Otherwise, the completion timeline is six to eight semesters.

    Part-time: This is dependent on the student and their needs/limitations. Students will work with an academic advisor to develop a program of study.

  • How many spaces are available for each cohort? 

    There are no cohort limits.

    Yes.
