Be Prepared
Emergencies can happen at any given moment. Knowing the right thing to do in a moment of emergency can be the difference between life and death. ETSU responds to emergencies in three simple steps:
-
Preparation
ETSU remains prepared for times of emergency. You can us in our efforts by preparing yourself. CPR courses, AED instructional videos, and review of ETSU's emergency preparedness plans are all amazing ways to prepare yourself for future emergencies. Environmental Health and Safety provides some guidance and support to campus-wide preparedness efforts. The links to the left provide some details about campus procedures and policies.
-
Response
When the unthinkable happens and an emergency strikes, ETSU is on top of it. Due to extensive preparation, ETSU has an abundance of resources to nullify the effects of nearly any emergency.
-
Recovery
After the conclusion of an emergency ETSU begins the reunification process of the university. ETSU offers many resources for mental and financial recovery.
