Charge: |
Regulate animal care and use in all programs associated with the University; make recommendations and suggest policy for the administration of the Division of Laboratory Animal Resources (DLAR) regarding animals in teaching and research programs; ascertain compliance with appropriate federal regulations; act as the internal certifying agency for the University concerning animal care and welfare; conduct forums, as appropriate, on the needs for uses of and policies pertaining to research using animals. |
