The ETSU Institutional Bio Safety and Chemical Safety Committee (IBC) is responsible for developing institutional biosafety policies and for reviewing and approving research and teaching activities that use biohazards, recombinant DNA and ensuring that protocols conform with the proper guidelines associated with the handling of toxic/hazardous chemicals as defined by the Occupational Health and Safety Administration and/or determined by the ETSU IBC. |
