The Creative Arts Scholarship Program is for first-time, out-of-state graduate and undergraduate students, including international and transfer students. Applicants must be accepted to ETSU before they will be considered for a Creative Arts Scholarship.
The costs associated with attending ETSU can include both direct and indirect costs. Please review ETSU's Cost of Attendance for more details.
A Unique Opportunity for Cultural Ambassadors
The Creative Arts Scholarship in International Culture & Media is a selective scholarship for international students passionate about digital storytelling, media creation, cultural promotion, and student leadership.
Each year, only 4–6 students worldwide are chosen for this cohort, creating an intimate learning environment centered on creativity, culture, and community engagement. If you enjoy sharing the richness of your home culture, producing digital content, leading projects, or working with other students, this program offers an exciting platform to grow, create, and be seen.
Scholarship Benefits
- Only pay the in-state portion of tuition (international tuition is waived)

Requirements for the Scholarship
- All freshmen are required to live on campus and purchase a meal plan for their freshman year (Does not apply to graduate and transfer students).
- Enrolling in and successfully completing a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester for undergraduate students and 9 credit hours per semester for graduate students.
- Maintaining satisfactory academic standing on all ETSU coursework with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.
- Work as mentored and directed by the International Enrollment and Services Staff
