The Mockingbird is the student literary magazine published by the East Tennessee State University Department of Literature and Language.
The Mockingbird staff and contributors are all students, some submitting their creative works for the first time. Traditionally, the call for literary submissions occurs early during the fall semesters. We encourage all ETSU students, regardless of major, to participate in creating The Mockingbird.
The co-editors for the 2026 issue of The Mockingbird are Lydia Gervais and Colby Dugger, graduate students in the ETSU Literature and
Language Department. Bios and images are coming soon.
