Lydia Gwyn holds a Master’s of Arts degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from the University of Southern Mississippi and graduated December 2019 with a Master’s of Science in Information Sciences from the University of Tennessee.
She has worked for the Sherrod Library as a Student Engagement and Instruction Coordinator for five years, where she teaches library instruction and directs the Library Ambassador Program. She has been teaching Library Research Skills for Cross-Disciplinary Studies for four years. Her research interests are in critical information literacy, learning styles and theories, and fiction and poetry. In her spare time, she keeps bees, grows gardens, and writes fiction. She also loves to hike, knit, and bake. She is the author of two books of short fiction: You'll Never Find Another (2021, Matter Press) and Tiny Doors (2018, Another New Calligraphy).
