Welcome to the Council of Diversity and Inclusion at the Quillen College of Medicine. The Council was established to lead the College’s current diversity and inclusion efforts for students, residents and fellows, faculty and staff, as well as initiate, coordinate and evaluate new programs to create a network of diversity and inclusion initiatives.
In addition to medical students, faculty and staff, the council membership is representative of many administrative units throughout the College, including Admissions and Student Services, Medical Student Education, Graduate Medical Education and Faculty Affairs. Additionally, we work collaboratively with colleagues from the East Tennessee University, and ETSU Health, to create meaningful diversity and inclusion programs that reach beyond the College and into the entire East Tennessee community.
We aim to cultivate diversity, inclusion, and equity to ensure a welcoming environment at the Quillen College of Medicine.
