Research/Teaching Interests:
The main goal of the lab is studying the basic neurobiological mechanisms that underlie attention, problem-solving, and memory with an emphasis in understanding the influence of thalamic structures in synchronizing the activity of frontal brain regions and the hippocampus during cognition.
