Due to recent changes within the Department of Education, the school code for Quillen College of Medicine has been changed to 003487 (East Tennessee State University). If you have already completed your 2025-26 FAFSA you will need to make a correction and list the school code 003487 in the first school option.
If you have not completed your 2025-26 FAFSA please go out and complete it and use the school code 003487. Due to all the changes we are getting from the Department of Education, it is important to complete this immediately to avoid any delays in funding.

- Choose "Add or Remove Schools". You can then search for and select the correct school, ensuring you don't exceed the limit of 20 schools. Remember to submit your changes after you've made them.

- Navigate to your FAFSA form: On your dashboard, locate the FAFSA form you want to edit under the "My Activity" section.
- Select "Add or Remove Schools": Find the "Add or Remove Schools" button and click it.
- Search for the school: Enter the school name, city, or state, or the school code to find the correct institution.
- Select the school: Once you've found the school, select it from the search results.
- Review and submit: Review the school's information and submit your changes to update the FAFSA.
Go to the Department of Education's website and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The school code is 003487. The Department of Education does not have our school code listed, so if you search, it will not be found. The code is listed under East Tennessee State University. If you don't use the School Code on your FAFSA we will not receive it.
