About the Department

The Department of Community and Behavioral Health seeks to improve the health of individuals and communities through teaching, research, and service centering around social and behavioral factors associated with health status and behavior.

The Department of Community and Behavioral Health supports our undergraduate degree by teaching several core courses and providing a concentration in Community Health. On the graduate level, the department offers a Community Health Concentration in both the Master and Doctor of Public Health in Community Health Services degrees.
