ETSU Supper Club
Experience life in East Tennessee. Share culture. Build friendships. Feel at home.
Supper Club connects international students with caring local families, couples, or individuals who want to welcome you into their home. You'll be matched with a small group of classmates and a host family, and together you'll share three meals during the semester - usually dinner, brunch, or a fun seasonal gathering. It's simple, free, and one of the most meaningful ways to feel at home while studying at ETSU.

What is Supper Club?
Supper Club is a cultural exchange program designed to help you build connections beyond campus. You and 1-3 other international students will be paired with a local host family who will invite you into their home for three, relaxed, friendly meals during the semester.
There's no weekly schedule, no cost, and no cooking or hosting required for students. Just show up, enjoy the meal, and experience genuine hospitality.
How Supper Club Works
1. Sign-Up: Complete the short student interest form
2. Be Matched: You'll be paired with a local host family along with a small group of fellow international students.
3. Meet Your Hosts: Your host family will reach out to introduce themselves and offer some dates for your first meal.
4. Enjoy 3 Meals Together: Meals are relaxed, friendly, and flexible. The host will plan the gatherings around everyone's schedules (as best as possible).
5. Keep in Touch (if you want to): Many students continue spending time with their hosts after the semester, but there is no pressure or expectation.
