Public Health Partners
TNIPH’s activities facilitate new and strengthen existing relationships in health, healthcare and health determinants among local, regional and state-wide stakeholders in Tennessee. TNIPH, as a partnership of public and private health agencies, organizations, and academic institutions, was established to maximize resources for the purpose of promoting health research, education, and service focused on improving the health of Tennesseans.
TNIPH began forming these partnerships at the state level upon its creation in 2007, actively working with chambers of commerce, economic developers, and community-based organizations in 2010 to build lasting relationships and motivate local action to improve health on local, regional, and state levels.
