Students transferring to East Tennessee State from other colleges and universities can apply for all types of aid, including scholarships specifically for transfer students.

Academic Performance Scholarhip
Students that are transferring new to ETSU and are in-state or one of our border counties may be eligible for this top award. The $3,000 Transfer APS is a competitve scholarship that recognizes transfer students for academic achievements. With a minimum 3.5 GPA and at least 24 transferable credit hours, students can apply for this scholarship before the May 15th deadline.

Transfer Student Financial Aid
As a tranfer student you may already have experience with financial aid and might still be eligible for different types of awards including grants, work study and loans. Our dedicated financial aid counselors are here to answer questions on transferring your aid to ETSU.
Don't forget to file your Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) early. Transfer
students need to be sure to change your school code to ETSU in order to be reviewed
for financial assistance.
