Windows 10 Performance Tip

1) "After installing Windows 10, you may have the issue with the Runtime Broker taking ~30% of your CPU. By going to Settings -> System -> Notifications & actions and unselecting "Show me tips about Windows." It should fix the processor usage when disabled.

2) There may be other features you need to disable to improve the performance of Windows 10 on your device, here is a link to some options:

Remote Support Session

Need help with your PC or laptop? Follow these easy steps:

  1. Go to: https://etsu.webex.com/etsu/sc
  2. Click Join
  3. Enter the 9 digit Session number your technician provides you and complete the remaining fields.
  4. Click Submit
  5. If you do not have the WebEx Plugin installed, you will be asked to download and install the Plug-in.
  6. Allow remote access to the technician when prompted
