Prospective Doctoral Students
Dr. Dueweke is not planning to take a student for the Fall 2025 admissions cycle.
*Note: Prospective applicants do NOT need to email Dr. Dueweke to convey their interest in the lab prior to applying. Some people view these emails as a necessary way to show interest and to get one's "foot in the door". If you send an email like this, you will likely receive a standard response that provides most of the same information as on this website, and whether or not you email will have absolutely no impact on the review of your application. Dr. Dueweke also does not meet with applicants before the application deadline for equity reasons.
Doctoral students join the EASI Lab through acceptance to the clinical psychology program in the Department of Psychology at ETSU.
If you are interested in becoming a part of the EASI Lab, please note that the clinical psychology PhD program at ETSU prioritizes both the applicant’s fit with our programmatic emphasis on integrated care and rural mental health as well as the fit with an individual faculty mentor’s area of research and clinical interests. Thus, in your application materials, please be sure to note both your fit with regard to programmatic aims as well as with the EASI Lab. Applicants with interests in research and/or clinical careers are welcome. Graduate students in the EASI Lab can expect to be involved in a number of research projects, resulting in manuscripts, oral and poster presentations, and service to the field.
