More Info - Matt received his Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Learning with a minor in Social Work at East Tennessee State University (ETSU) in 2013. Matt continued his education at ETSU until 2015 with the completion of his Master’s degree in Counseling. During his time at ETSU Matt was an active advocate for students with disabilities, sexual orientation minorities, and gender minorities. Simultaneously, Matt advised multiple student organizations for the purpose of improving student leadership and developing resources for both LGBT students and students with disabilities.
Matt currently holds the position of Access Coordinator of Eligibility and Accommodations at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s Disability Resource Center, with the goal of ensuring equal accessibility for all students enrolled at UTC. Matt also works with UTC’s Mosaic program, a program that specializes in working to support individuals with autism while they pursue their college degrees. A population that Matt has quickly developed a passion for.
