exercises specifically designed for orthopaedic PGY-1 residents.
The original curriculum consists of 17 modules, and the ETSU program has developed several additional modules specific to our program. The goal of the ABOS surgical skills modules is to provide training in skills used in the initial management of injured patients and basic operative skills to prepare residents to participate in surgical procedures.
PGY-1 residents complete these modules over the course of their first year of training.
