ETSU Services

We welcome veterans and their families to ETSU's Family Medicine Clinics in Johnson City, Kingsport and Bristol for a wide spectrum of patient-centered primary care. Our clinics are community-based, open to patients of all ages and take great pride in utilizing the latest information in the context of effective communication and compassionate care. Within our clinics are board certified family physicians, licensed psychologists andpharmacists and clinically certified social workers.

All three Centers accept most insurances including both Standard and Prime CHAMPUS/TRICARE insurance.

So as to make the veterans experience easier and more effective the VA has taken 1,000 websites and consolidated them into one. Additionally, 1,000 phone numbers have now been housed under the one phone number 1-844-MYVA311.

Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program

The Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) is one of the most generous and comprehensive scholarships available in health care today. The scholarship covers full tuition, required books, academic fees, and most medical equipment while providing a monthly stipend of more than $2,000. Currently, a $20,000 bonus is also being offered to those who qualify. While in school students have the opportunity to train in military medical facilities and will match to some of the most highly-rated residency programs in the nation. The Active Duty obligation is one year for every year you receive HPSP.
