Basic Analyses Package for Well Water - $125

This group of tests gives a general background of the most important water quality parameters that apply to homes on well supplies.

General Laboratory Guidelines:

  1. It is necessary to call EHSL at 423-439-7639 to request specific water analyses and arrange pickup of proper sample bottle(s).  General information and facts regarding different analyses we perform can be given at this time.  See links below for maps to campus and Hutcheson Hall.
  2. For quality assurance/quality control purposes, all sample vessels must be provided by EHSL.  At the time of pickup, information regarding proper sampling procedures, transport requirements, and specific time limits for returning the samples will be provided.
  3. All samples must be collected by the client or third party. EHSL does not collect samples for non-contract work.
  4. EHSL reserves the right to refuse samples which have been improperly collected or preserved, or for which no prior notification has been given.
  5. The prices are listed for aqueous samples only.
  6. Turnaround time for most analyses is 5 to 10 working days. Metals and some organic analyses may require 15 working days.
