Audiology
The East Tennessee State University Doctor of Audiology program is a joint-program between ETSU and the Audiology Department at the James H. Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center at Mountain Home.
The collaboration between facilities provides extensive educational and clinical opportunities for our doctoral students. The ETSU / VA faculty consists of 12 Ph.D. level, 3 Au.D. level, 2 Masters level audiologists, and several adjunct professors. In addition to the vast clinical possibilities, the curriculum offered in our program prepares students for the educational demands in all areas of Audiology.

Vision Statement
The Doctor of Audiology program will serve as a center for excellence, with a commitment to high quality professional education, translational research in audiology and in providing direct clinical services and community education and outreach programs. Through these activities, the program will strive to improve the quality of life for individuals affected by speech, language, hearing and balance challenges across the life span.

To prepare students to be exceptional clinicians and lifelong learners, who provide evidence-based services and advocate for individuals with communication disorders and their families, and to become future leaders in the field of Audiology.
