Applying to the ETSU Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program
HOW TO APPLY:
- Apply through the Physical Therapist Centralized Application Service (PTCAS) www.ptcas.org.*
- Students must also apply to the ETSU School of Graduate Studies at https://www.etsu.edu/gradschool/applynow.php.*
- Completed applications include GRE scores. The school code to release your scores to ETSU is 1198.
*APPLICATION FEES ARE REQUIRED BY BOTH PTCAS AND the ETSU School of Graduate Studies
WHEN TO APPLY:
Early Admission Deadline: October 1, 2022 for Class entering January 2024
Final Admission Deadline: March 1, 2023 for Class entering January 2024
To meet a deadline, ALL required materials must be submitted by that deadline.
The average rate for the past two graduating classes is 97.45% (2020 – 97.5% and 2021 – 97.4%)
NPTE Pass Rate
The average first-time pass rate for the last two graduating classes is 88.15% (2020 – 84.6% and 2021 – 91.7%). The ultimate pass rate for those classes are currently 98.6% (2020 – 100% and 2021 – 97.2%)
100% of those who graduated in 2019 and 2020 and sought employment were employed (full-time or part-time) in physical therapy within one year of graduation.
