The Alumni Advisory Board (AAB) serves as a mechanism for alumni to voice their thoughts, share their ideas, and help to articulate the value of the Honors College to the broader alumni community and, likewise, the value of our alumni to the Honors College.
Honors College AAB Mission
The AAB aims to support the Honors College in providing an Honors-enriched education
built on high impact practices for high-achieving students from the region and beyond.
- Provide consultation to the dean and directors regarding the changing needs of students
- Promote campus and community awareness of the exceptional opportunties provided to
students through the Honors College
- Assist in recruitment of prospective students
- Help the student and alumni programs manager to build and maintain an active and involved alumni base
- Provide financial support to increase student participation in study abroad, internships, and undergraduate research activities
"We look forward to meeting with Alumni Board members and working with them to promote the interests of the University and of the Honors College. Our alumni advisory board members will play an essential role in engaging and inspiring alumni to support current and future Honors scholars at ETSU."
-Christopher Keller, Ph.D.
