Nurse Leadership Program (OpusVi)
We are pleased to announce that on August 23, 2024, our inaugural Nurse Leadership class successfully concluded. In collaboration with OpusVi, our Center had the privilege of guiding a talented group of 15 nurse leaders from across the state through a rigorous 12-week, instructor-led online course aimed at enhancing their leadership skills.
To honor their hard work and accomplishments, we hosted a special luncheon, where the cohort shared their experiences and insights on our Center’s podcast.
We celebrated these remarkable nurse leaders and their dedication to advancing excellence in healthcare leadership. Thank you for joining us in recognizing their achievements! Stay tuned for more upcoming announcements regarding the Nurse Leadership Program. -
Nurse Narratives
First-person nursing narratives are more than just stories—they are transformative tools that shape perspectives and drive community impact. These narratives provide a vital platform for nurses to share their lived experiences, fostering compassion, empathy, and a deeper understanding of their unique challenges and triumphs.
In collaboration with Story Collab and Ballad Health, the Center is proud to bring these authentic voices to the forefront. Through digital storytelling and participatory media, we honor and amplify diverse nursing experiences, bridging gaps and transcending cultural boundaries for a richer and more nuanced representation of the nursing profession.
As these narratives reach broader audiences, they not only empower individuals but also serve as a powerful advocacy tool. They raise awareness, inspire collective action, and drive positive and sustainable change in healthcare.
