Institutional Scholarships
Bettie Wilson Leadership Scholarship, $1,000
Second-, third-, or fourth-year student; GPA of 3.0 or higher; demonstrated commitment
to the pharmacy profession and the College.
Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy Scholarship, the amount varies
Good academic standing; demonstrated commitment to the pharmacy profession and the
College.
Brummit Family Scholarship, $3,000
Demonstrate professional potential, commitment to pharmacy, and financial need; TN
residents preferred.
Calhoun Partners in Pharmacy Scholarship, $1,000
High scholastic achievement and demonstrated leadership skills.
Cardinal Health Pharmacy Scholarship, minimum $10,000
Fourth-year student; good academic standing; interest in independent community pharmacy
practice.
Class of 2010 Scholarship, the amount varies
Demonstrates community involvement and/or service, GPA of 3.0 or better, preference
given to applicants who are from within 250 miles of campus and/or from a rural town
or underserved area with plans to return and impact that area post-graduation.
Corley Family Scholarship, $500-$1,000
Second-, third-, or fourth-year student in good standing with a cumulative GPA of
3.0 or higher. Preference is given to a student from Greene and contiguous counties
in TN, students who did pre-pharmacy coursework at ETSU, Carson-Newman, Tusculum,
or Walters State Community College, student who has demonstrated financial need, academic
excellence, and dedication to pharmacy as a career and life-long profession.
Cox Pharmacy Scholarship, $10,000 (2 available)
Second--, third- or fourth-year student in good academic standing with a GPA of 3.4
or higher. Preference is given to a student with demonstrated financial need, enrolled
in a dual PharmD/MBA program, entrepreneurial spirit, outstanding character through
commitment to community service, interest in professional growth through mentorship,
and demonstrated strong communication skills.
Curtis Memorial Scholarship, $1,000
Preference is given to a student in good academic standing, a first-generation college
student, native of East TN with priority given to residents of Bradley, Polk, McMinn,
Hamilton, Meigs, Monroe, Rhea, Bledsoe, Sequatchie, and Marion counties in TN, documented
financial need, and high school or undergraduate student-athlete.
CVS Caremark Pharmacy Scholarship, $1,000
Good academic standing; interest in community pharmacy practice.
CVS Caremark Pharmacy Language Scholarship, $1,000
Student must be fluent in one or more languages in addition to English, have good
academic standing, and interest in community pharmacy practice.
Dr. Brian Odle Scholarship, the amount varies
Awarded to the student who embodies the personality and character traits similar to
those of Dr. Odle. Also based on high academic achievement and demonstration of leadership
and service to the pharmacy profession
Good Neighbor Pharmacy Scholarship, minimum $1,000
Third- or fourth-year student; interest in independent community pharmacy practice.
Holland Family Pharmacy Scholarship, amount varies up to $500
Third-year student; most improved academically.
Manahan Family Pharmacy Scholarship, $1,000
First-year student.
McKinney Memorial Scholarship, $500
Second or third-year student must be a resident of Sullivan or Hawkins County, TN,
and must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Metzger Scholarship, amount varies up to $500
Second- or third-year student; resident Hawkins County or Sullivan County; GPA of
3.0 or higher.
Myers Memorial Pharmacy Scholarship, $500
Second- or third-year student; GPA of 3.5 or higher; demonstrate leadership and service
to the pharmacy profession; preference given to KY and TN residents.
Pharmacy Plus Community & Travel Scholarship $1,000
Second--, third-, or fourth-year student in good academic standing, a member of NCPA
and TPA, and demonstrates professionalism in the classroom and practice settings.
Plummer Pharmacy Scholarship, $500-$1,000
Must have completed at least 40 credit hours of pre-pharmacy work at ETSU.
Sewell Memorial Pharmacy Scholarship, $1,000
Must be a current member of Kappa Psi. Preference is given to a student who demonstrates
personal interest in PTSD or SUDs and has related goals for addressing the prevention
and treatment of these disorders as a future healthcare provider.
Underwood Memorial Pharmacy Scholarship, $2,000
Demonstrate financial need; minimum GPA of 3.2; priority for residents of Northeast
TN (Washington, Carter, Johnson, Unicoi, Sullivan, Hawkins, or Greene counties); any
other TN county; VA or NC.
Walgreens Diversity Initiative Scholarship, $2,500
Demonstrate significant efforts toward raising awareness or educating others about
cultural competency and diversity-related matters impacting the pharmacy profession;
minimum GPA of 2.0.
Walgreens Multilingual Scholarship, $2,500
Student must be fluent in one or more languages in addition to English and have an
interest in Community Pharmacy.
Wilson Family Scholarship, the amount varies
Second-, third– or fourth-year student in good academic standing, GPA of 3.0 or higher
with priority given to a resident of Washington and contiguous counties in TN. Also
based on academic excellence and demonstrated commitment to public, community, and/or
volunteer service.
Yount Scholarship, $2,500
A resident of Hawkins, Hancock, Sullivan, or Washington Counties; GPA of 3.0 or higher.
