Teaching Theatre K-12

For candidates who want to teach theater/drama courses the Secondary Theatre Education option offers training for teachers. The Theatre Education track is designed for students with a Bachelor's degree who wish to be certified to teach Theatre in grades K-12.

The recommended course sequence allows you to complete the program within a reasonable time frame. (Spring, Summer, Fall, Spring)

Praxis Exam Required Prior to Admittance

To be certified in Theatre K-12 you need to take test code 5641 and receive a qualifying score of 159 or higher.
