MA (Master Teacher)
The Early Childhood Education, M.A. (Master Teacher Concentration) at East Tennessee State University is accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Early Childhood Higher Education Programs of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The accreditation term runs from March 2018 through March 2025. Our Master Teacher (MTEA) Concentration is a non-licensure Master's Degree in Early Childhood that is appropriate for teachers who already have licensure and are looking to get a master's degree and also for graduate students who are not teachers but who are interested in earning a master's degree that will enable them to work in other early childhood settings outside the public school.
