Welcome to the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis
We are proud to prepare leaders with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in an ever-changing world. We live in an interconnected world no longer bound by geographical constraints and we reflect that change by offering online delivery in three concentrations, Administrative Endorsement, School Leadership, and Higher Education Leadership and three degrees, Master's, Educational Specialist, and Doctorate. We welcome students from all backgrounds who desire to broaden their expertise and critical thinking skills to become the next generation of leaders in our society and the world.
The deadline for applications each semester is published on the School of Graduate Studies website. However, we will interview applicants beyond the deadline if space is available in the next cohort. Contact the ELPA Graduate Program Coordinator for the concentration of interest for more information about deadlines.

Internships and Residency
Students complete internships and residency activities aimed at targeting their individual leadership and career focus while expanding their current knowledge and understanding of the leadership field.
All students enrolled in the Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis department are required to complete internship hours. The type and number of internship hours each student will take depends on your concentration: Administrative Endorsement, Higher Education Leadership, or School Leadership.
Residency is viewed as an opportunity for students to participate in various activities within the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis as well as other outside organizations. This opportunity allows students to demonstrate continuing growth of awareness and understanding of the wider profession of educational leadership.
